Prices

Open the Pricing tab in a subscription's detail page to set per-territory prices. Apple requires at least a US price before a subscription can go live.

Opening the Pricing tab

  1. Navigate to Monetization → Subscriptions.
  2. Click a subscription group to expand it, then click a subscription row.
  3. In the subscription detail, click the Pricing tab.

The Pricing tab lists territories with their configured prices and expected developer proceeds.

Setting a price

  1. Click Add or the territory you want to configure.
  2. Choose a price tier from the dropdown. Apple defines discrete price tiers per currency — you select from available price points rather than entering a custom amount.
  3. The customer price and developer proceeds update to reflect the selected tier.
  4. Click Save.

Apple's price tiers are set in each local currency. The same tier number maps to different local prices depending on exchange rates and Apple's localized pricing strategy.

Equalizing prices across territories

To set consistent pricing across all markets:

  1. In the Pricing tab, click Equalize Prices.
  2. Select a reference territory (typically United States).
  3. Marteso sets all other territories to the closest available tier to the reference price.
  4. Review the results before saving — check Japan, Brazil, and India where purchasing-power-parity pricing may differ significantly from a straight currency conversion.

Price increases for existing subscribers

If you raise the price on an existing subscription, Apple requires subscriber consent before the new price takes effect for them. Marteso will surface this notice when you save a price increase. Do not submit a price increase without reviewing Apple's price increase consent policy.

New subscribers see the new price immediately after the change is saved.
